Will everyone get a space on the new programme?

Yes, we have ensured that all participants have been mapped over and allocated a class time.

 

What if I cannot manage the day or time allocated to me?

FSLT recommend that you book into your allocated class space as soon as possible - this is the best way to guarantee your space and makes any future changes much easier to process as a result. You can seek to move your class day or time, if desirable from Sunday 20th to Saturday 26th March inclusive.

 

Can I book over the phone?

No. As this is a new programme everyone needs to fill out a new application form. At the time of re-booking and will receive a copy of the L2S terms & conditions along with the membership card, feedback form and details of future payment dates. This must be done in person.

Once enrolled participants will then be able to make future payments over the phone as there will be no need to fill out another form.

Remember to keep us up to date with any changes arising, this includes health status, your address, telephone number or email.

We actively encourage you to ‘opt in’ to receiving marketing information so that FSLT can keep you fully updated with scheme news and special offers.

 

What happens if I forget to rebook?

New customers can join the L2S programme from Sunday 27th March onward, so existing participants must book before this date to guarantee their space.

 

How will the Junior Swimming Membership work?

Once enrolled all children from pre-school classes and above will automatically receive a Junior Swim Membership. This membership card will allow the child 'Free' swimming at any FSLT operated pool. Subject to admission policy guidelines being adhered to.

This benefit will remain active as long as you remain an ‘active’ member of the Learn to Swim programme.

FSLT operates a no card, no entry policy so you or your child must have this card in order to gain membership access. If you lose/forget your card, new cards are available to purchase from reception or the appropriate pay as you go rate(s) will apply.

The membership card is for life, so keep it safe! Even once you have finished in our L2S programme, the card will continue to be valid for any future memberships or passes your child may sign up to. Please remember there is a fee payable if they need to buy a replacement card.

 

How do I get feedback on my child’s performance?

Parents will be allocated a L2S feedback card for the swim level booked into, you can present this to your teacher a maximum of twice between advertised payment dates. Please allow 7 days for a response, be aware that replacement or lost copies are charged at £1 thereafter, so it’s in your best interests to look after these.

 

How will I know when my child is ready to move?

The swim teachers will provide your child with a movers slip after speaking with the venue swim co-ordinator to ensure availability of class. On the same day, limited any time changes where possible to do so. You must take this to reception to secure your new class space.

 

What if I decide to seek a move of day/ time through personal choice / change in circumstances once the programme is up and running?

Simply speak with reception staff in the first instance and they will check availability and confirm movement.

 

Is there anything else I need to know about my L2S membership card?

No card sharing is permitted and any misuse may lead to the suspension or cancellation of additional membership access privileges.
