Fun and Games
Having an active life doesn't mean you have to stick to a boring exercise routine. There are lots of fun ways of keeping fit that don't involve running on a treadmill. Doctors recommend that teenagers do 60 minutes of exercise per day. That may seem a lot, but when you're doing something fun that you enjoy, the time will fly by! If swimming lengths in the pool isn't your cup of tea, then check out our giant waterwalkerz and seascooter pool sessions. Waterwalkerz are like giant hamster balls that you get inside the try to run across the surface of the pool! Seascooters are individual jet propellers that help you cruise around the pool or dive below the surface. If you don't fancy that, then pop along to one of our youth zone clubs where you can play on the wii, wrestle in giant sumo suits, or take part in the many sports activities on offer. |
