Active for Health

If you suffer with long-term health conditions but want to be more physically active and not let your medical conditions be an obstacle then our small, group-based programme will support you.

Using basic equipment like simple cardio machines, free weights, and medicine balls, you’ll receive 6 weeks of support and a fully personalised activity plan to ease you into fitness before transitioning into more independent exercise. You will:

  • Grow your confidence to prepare for independence in the gym
  • Develop your experience with various equipment
  • Improve your fitness, mobility, and strength

Active Move

Our group-based programme is specifically tailored for people living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.

Feel the support of a group of people who have also experienced cancer, while seeing the benefits of regular movement and fitness. Though a group session, the focus will be on you as an individual as we help to grow your fitness confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment.

  • Build your proficiency with different gym equipment

Active Strength and Balance

Active Strength and Balance

A group, chair-based programme for people living with long-term health conditions.

If you have limited mobility or are a wheelchair user, then this programme, delivered as a standing session with chairs for support, allows you to socialise while improving your mobility, balance, and strength using minimal equipment, such as therapy bands and weights. Through this programme, you will:

  • Improve your ability to perform everyday functional tasks
  • Be supported by an instructor every step of the way
  • Meet new friends through social group sessions
