Charitable trust gives Woodmill High School students offer to keep active

Following the closure of Woodmill High School due to fire damage we are offering pupils discounted access to its facilities.

We are extending our popular family scheme, Quid-a-Kid, which gives juniors, aged 17 and under, the chance to swim, play racquet sports or football for just  £1 at Carnegie Leisure Centre and Duloch Leisure Centre.

Our staff are also in talks with the school to provide supported PE sessions at both centres so that pupils can meet with teachers and engage in indoor and outdoor activities

James Dunbar, area leisure manager for Fife Sports and Leisure said: “In light of the disruption to local youngsters following the closure of the school, we are delighted to be able to offer access to our facilities under the Quid-a-Kid scheme – we hope pupils and their parents will take up the opportunity to get active and help ease the challenge of this unforeseen situation.”
