East Fife Triathlon Club is a long-standing club founded in 1996 by a group of enthusiastic local athletes. 2021 marks the club’s 25th Anniversary. The founding members included current chairman Alasdair Hood, Fiona Lothian and Louise Burt. Fiona Lothian (1995) won the ITU World Duathlon Series. Fiona is a Triathlon Hall of Fame member and has contributed significantly to the Triathlon and East Fife Triathlon Club. Another founding member, Louise Burt, still serves as a club coach.

The highly admired junior section of the club was established in 2016 by Elise Methven and has fast become one of the top junior clubs in Scotland.
