Diamond and Platinum Members
In keeping with the Scottish Government’s announcement regarding protocols to be followed in relation to the spread and containment of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Tier 3 local protection measures, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust will not be able to provide indoor group exercise classes or sports for adults.
As a Diamond or Platinum member who receives fitness classes as part of your membership, you are directly affected by this change.
If you pay by monthly direct debit, we have automatically reduced your membership rate in line with our gym and swim package – we are discounting you to our Silver Gym pricing which will give you access to the gym and swimming pool for a lower rate (please see table below for prices). If you are a Diamond member and do not normally receive pool access, this will be added to your membership.
Jack has been with us for four years and recently gave us some feedback while visiting Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre.
"Glad to be back and concentrating on strength. I’ll be ditching some of the cardio. I did loads of hills during lockdown but I really missed a routine of daily workouts - I’m usually at Michael Woods around 6 times per week. All the Covid protocols are covered and the members of staff ensure everyone abides by the guidance".
Amanda has been with us for five years, here's what she had to say - "due to an injury, I couldn’t do anything during lockdown except hula hooping. I really missed the swimming more than I ever imagined. I started back swimming on 15th September & I’ve lost 6Lbs already and I feel great.
Measure in place is fully effective to keep everyone safe. I feel so safe coming in. The venue is immaculate and numbers are restricted for safety.
I really enjoy my 64 lengths today."
Heather told us on a recent visit to Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre -
"I am so glad to be back to my classes. Home workout by the Trust was great but just not the same and I wasn’t as motivated as I am in live classes.
I received a lovely welcome at reception and plenty of guidance to keep everyone safe and informed. It looks like everything has been thought of and I feel very safe and very confident about returning to my classes."
