How does Personal Training work?
Your Trainer begins with a consultation to understand your goals, experience and lifestyle. They then create a structured plan, guide each session, and adjust your training as you progress.
What can Personal Training help me achieve?
Personal Training can support a wide range of goals including building strength, managing weight, returning to exercise after injury and improving sport-specific performance. Your Trainer will develop a plan suited to your starting point and long-term objectives.
Is Personal Training included in my membership?
No. Personal Training is an additional service and is arranged directly with your chosen Trainer. Please note, will need either a valid membership or pay-as-you-go gym access to use Fife Sports and Leisure Trust facilities.
How often should I train with a Personal Trainer?
This depends on your goals, experience and budget. Some members train weekly for ongoing support, while others use Personal Training periodically to refine technique and refresh their programme.
I’m new to the gym. Is Personal Training suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Personal Training is ideal for beginners, helping you build confidence and learn correct technique from day one.
Can teenagers book Personal Training?
Yes. Personal Training is available for young people aged 14 and over. Parents or guardians should speak with the Personal Trainer in advance to discuss goals and ensure the sessions are appropriate. Please note that venue age restrictions for gym access still apply.
