Youngsters are being invited to “dress up and bounce” at special Halloween events in local leisure centres.

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has teamed up with World of Parties to run two “Spooktacular Inflatable Takeover” events.

On offer will be giant inflatables, slides and obstacle courses. Youngsters are being invited to come along in their best spooky costumes, with prizes promised for the best dressed.

The first sessions will be held in Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre on Saturday 31st October. The second set of events will be held at Leven Leisure Centre on Sunday 1st November. Sessions will each last an hour, starting at 10 am, 11.15 am and 12.30 pm each day.

Early bird tickets are on sale now, priced £9.95 per child, per session. These rise to £11.95 on September 30th (for Cowdenbeath bookings) and October 1st (for Leven bookings).

The events are suitable for children aged 12 and under.

Lee Cunningham, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust’s Activities Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting Spooktacular Inflatable events in Cowdenbeath and Leven. This is a great opportunity for families to enjoy an active Halloween experience in a safe and fun environment.”

Organisers stress that any fancy dress outfit “must be safe for active play” (so no loose props).
