How InBody Works

Getting started with InBody is quick and simple:

  1. Book your scan with a members of the gym team or at reception.
  2. Step onto the InBody analyser, it only takes a few minutes.
  3. Get instant results showing your body composition in detail.
  4. Test your grip strength using the InGrip dynamometer.
  5. Review your results with a member of our team, who can help you set goals and adjust your training plan.
  6. Check back in regularly (every 6 – 8 weeks) to see your progress and stay motivated.

What is the InBody 270?

It’s a quick, non-invasive test that measures your muscle, fat, and water levels with impressive accuracy, giving you more detail than a standard scale. It also measures your grip strength, which is strongly linked to your overall fitness, strength, and health.

Why is grip strength important?

Research shows grip strength is a key indicator of overall muscle strength and can help highlight areas to improve for performance and injury prevention.

How often should I use InBody?

Every 6 – 8 weeks is ideal, this helps you track meaningful progress and see how your training and nutrition are working for you.

Do I need to be a certain level of fitness to use it?

Not at all! InBody is suitable for everyone, whether you’re just starting out, returning to exercise, or training at a high level.

How much do the scans cost?

An InBody assessment will cost £10.
