Kickstart Your Easter Break with Action-packed Camps and Activities across Fife

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust are gearing up to deliver another fun filled programme of activities for the Easter school holidays, running from Monday 6th to Friday 17th April 2026. This year’s lineup features a wide range of budget friendly options to keep children active, engaged, and learning new skills throughout the spring break.

A key feature of the Easter programme is the return of the Quid a Kid initiative, available Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm throughout the holiday week. Children aged 17 and under can enjoy Quid a Kid swimming, football, and racquet sports (including tennis, mini tennis, squash, and badminton) for just £1 per session. Adults joining juniors for football or racquet sports pay only £2, creating a great value family activity.

Alongside these sessions, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust has put together a varied timetable of sports camps for children across Fife. The programme includes athletics, basketball, dance, football, gymnastics, and the popular five-day Active Kidz Camps for ages 8–12. Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches and run in partnership with local organisations such as Raith Rovers Community Foundation, Active Fife, and Fife Athletic Club.

Venues hosting this year’s Easter programme include:

  • Beacon Leisure Centre, Burntisland
  • Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre
  • Dalgety Bay Sports and Leisure Centre
  • Duloch Leisure Centre, Dunfermline
  • Kirkcaldy Leisure Centre
  • Levenmouth Swimming Pool and Sports Centre, Leven
  • Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre, Glenrothes

Lee Cunningham, Activities Manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “Easter is always a brilliant opportunity for young people to get active. From QuidaKid sessions to our specialist camps, we’re committed to giving families accessible, great value options right across Fife. It’s fantastic to work with our partners to bring such a wide range of activities to local communities.”

Cameron Kingsland, Participation Manager at Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “What really stands out each holiday is the confidence and joy these sessions bring to children. Whether they’re trying a sport for the first time or returning to something they love, the benefits are clear. We’re excited to welcome families this Easter and see young people getting involved, making friends, and enjoying being active.”

These holiday programmes are made possible thanks to the support of Fife Council. Activities are subject to venue programming and operate on a first come, first served basis.
