Fife Sports and Leisure Trust are welcoming customers into a transformed gym space at Michael Woods Sports and Leisure Centre following a £500,000 investment that has significantly expanded the gym floor and introduced a dedicated strength and conditioning area. The upgrade marks an important step in enhancing the venue’s fitness offer, reflecting growing demand for modern, flexible training environments.
Completed over several weeks, the refurbishment has created a more open and energising layout designed to support a wide range of fitness goals. The upgraded gym features premium Life Fitness cardio equipment, a dedicated Hammer Strength area (known globally for its performance-focused, plate-loaded equipment), custom Indigo Fitness squat racks, upgraded flooring, and enhanced sound and lighting, delivering a high-quality training environment for both everyday gym users and performance-focused members.
