I am a Chief Superintendent and the current Divisional Commander of Fife Division of Police Scotland, having held this position since September 2018.

I attended Auchmuty High School in Glenrothes and when I left I joined the police. I have spent over 30 years as a police officer becoming a senior leader within Police Scotland. I have reached my time in service when I can retire from policing should I choose to do so. I recognise though that there are so many positive opportunities in Fife and perhaps I can help in some way.

I am a resident of Fife who has two school age sons who are growing up in an increasingly challenging environment. During their short lives they have come to recognise that Fife has so much to offer them, with one aspect being the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.

I am a member of the Trust and routinely attend the fitness classes at the Michael Woods Centre.

I am invested in the Fife community and hope that my experience in public service can go some way in improving the services offered by the trust to the communities we serve. I am delighted to have become a Director in the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust.
