Your FREE Member Journey

Fife Sports and Leisure Trust offer every gym customer an opportunity to undertake a member journey with one of our fully qualified gym instructors.

What is the member journey?
Our instructors will take you through an individual consultation that includes

  • Finding out more about your current and previous activity levels
  • A discussion around your specific goals and what you want to achieve with your gym sessions
  • We provide a training programme to support those goals
  • We recommend you have a programme review at 4, 8, and 12 weeks
  • We ask how you felt the member journey went and we ask for your feedback through our customer survey

The member journey is available at the following leisure centres;

Frequently asked questions

Why should I book a member journey?
Our member journey offers you the opportunity to have a gym programme based around your goals and under the guidance and support of a member of our gym
team. You will have the chance to review and track your progress at regular intervals and make the best use of your time in the gym.

What happens if I only want a welcome Session and don’t want a member journey programme?
You can have a welcome session as normal if you would prefer it, just book a slot, and let the gym staff know you would like a welcome session and not the full member journey.

Can I book a member journey if I am already a gym user?
You can book a member journey even if you already use our gyms. Just contact reception or a member of the gym team to book your member journey slot.

How often will my programme be reviewed?
We recommend you have a programme review at 4, 8, and 12 weeks, planned updates and reviews will help support you and provide both motivation and accountability, two main factors if making progress towards goals.

What happens at the end of my programme?
Once you reach week 12, we ask you to provide feedback on our member journey by completing a short survey. If you want to continue with support from the gym team you can go back to week 1 and repeat the 12-week block with support from the gym team or book in for personal training if that better suit your requirements.
