FAQs

What is the swimming pool Admission Policy?

Children under 8 years must be accompanied by an adult (16 years or over). If the venue has more than one pool this person must be in the same pool.

Parent/Child Ratios:

  • 1 Adult: 2 Children (under 5 years)
  • 1 Adult: 3 Children (5 – 7 years)
What is the dress code for the pool area?

Please refrain from wearing swimwear with buckles, rivets, zippers, or any exposed metal, as well as any sharp objects. Denim and wetsuits are not permitted in the pool or slides.

Are outdoor shoes allowed in the pool area?

We have designated “No Outdoor Shoe Zones” within or near our swimming pool changing areas, clearly marked with signage that reads “No Outdoor Shoe Zone.” If you have any questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to ask our reception or a member of our team.

What should I do if my child is not fully toilet-trained?

We require children who are not yet fully toilet-trained to wear swim nappies, ideally wearing a neoprene nappy cover over the nappy as well. These swim nappies are available at our reception for your convenience.

Are life jackets and floats available for use?

While availability can vary by venue, generally, life jackets and floats are not provided but may be available to purchase at our reception area. Alternatively, you’re welcome to bring your own.

Can children swim on their own?

For the safety and well-being of all visitors, we have a policy that no children under 8 years old should be left unaccompanied within our centres.

How can I rent a locker?

We offer secure lockers for rent, and they can be accessed with a £1 coin.

What is the policy on food and drinks at the venue?

Consumption of food, alcoholic beverages, or soft drinks is not allowed within the Venue, except in designated areas. You may consume non-alcoholic beverages like soft drinks and protein shakes, but they must be in sealed containers. Glass containers are not permitted anywhere in the Venue.

How can I stay updated on Levenmouth and Beacon Waves’ schedule?

The schedule for Levenmouth and Beacon Waves, including wave times and flume availability, may vary. We recommend keeping an eye on the venue’s Facebook page for the latest updates or contacting our reception for further details.

What if I forget to bring a spare pair of indoor shoes/sandals?

In this instance, we would advise customers to enter the “No Outdoor Shoe Zone” with bare feet if possible.

Where can I leave my outdoor footwear?

We operate a secure locker system that requires either a £1 coin. You will receive your coin back when you collect your items afterwards. Alternatively, you can carry them with you in the bag you used to bring your change of footwear.
